The importance of audio-visual aids in the teaching and learning cannot be farfetched. The present study investigates the effect of audio visual aids in motivating learning in the primary school in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State. The study make use questionnaire to gather information from fifteen teachers who were randomly selected from five primary school while one hundred and fifty pupils were also selected from these five schools and were classified into two groups i.e. experimental and control groups. Based on the findings, it was discovered that pupils who were taught with audio visual perform better than those pupils who are taught with traditional methods. It was recommended that schools should provide audio visual aids to teachers as it will help the pupils and motivate there learning thereby increasing their performances.
